  • The .375 R Hölderlin is a wildcat cartridge based on the 8x57mm Mauser cartridge case. It was developed by German gunsmith and wildcat cartridge enthusiast, Reinhold Hölderlin in the 1960s.

    The .375 R Hölderlin cartridge is not a standardized cartridge, and as such, there is no specific industry standard for its performance specifications. Generally, it is believed to use a .375 caliber bullet and have a similar overall length and case capacity to the .375 H&H Magnum cartridge. However, the .375 R Hölderlin is not as powerful as the .375 H&H Magnum.
