- The .400/350 Rigby NE is a belted cartridge that was developed in the late 1800s by firearm manufacturer John Rigby & Co. It is considered to be a powerful round, capable of taking down large game and it is commonly used for hunting applications.
The .400/350 Rigby NE has low recoil, high muzzle velocity, and good sectional density which make it very accurate over long distances. Its high bullet weight and flat trajectory provide great penetration effectiveness against thick hides and boned structures.
