- The .455 Mark II is a large-caliber, rimfire revolver cartridge developed in 1907 by Smith & Wesson.
It was initially used in the Webley Mark VI revolver and remained in service with British forces through World War I. It has since seen its use declined due to its low velocities and bullet weights.
