- The .465 H&H Belt Mag is a large-caliber, centerfire rifle cartridge developed by Holland & Holland in 1908 for use in the iconic double rifles that bear their name. It was designed to provide an effective long range hunting round capable of taking down even the largest game animals.
The .465 H&H uses a large belt on the case head for reliable headspacing and extraction which provides excellent accuracy and consistency. It has become popular with hunters looking to use modern factory ammunition due to its higher velocities and flatter trajectories compared to other rounds with similar bullet weights.
