  • The 7.21 Firebird (also known as the Lazzeroni) is a powerful sporting round developed by Lazzeroni in the early 21st century. It's a belted magnum round based on the 8mm Remington Magnum, but with a significantly larger body diameter and greater case capacity. This cartridge has excellent ballistics with a muzzle velocity of up to 3,500 fps and an energy of 5,000 ft-lbs. This makes it suitable for hunting all types of game from small to large; such as deer, wild boar, elk, moose, and even bear. The 7.21 Firebird offers an optimal combination of accuracy and stopping power and can be used at distances up to 500 yards – however this means that it can be somewhat punishing to shoot with its high recoil level. As such it might not be ideal for hunters looking for comfortability when shooting or for beginners who are just starting out their hunting journey.
