- The 7.82 Warbird (also known as the Lazzeroni) is a type of medium-sized rifle cartridge developed by Lazzeroni Arms in 2000, and is still widely used today. The 7.82 Warbird utilizes a 150 grain full metal jacketed bullet that produces velocities over 2,000 feet per second at the muzzle with an energy level of 1,742 ft/lbs - making it a highly powerful round suitable for taking down small to medium sized game animals. The relatively low recoil also makes it suitable for use in bolt action or semi-automatic rifles, greatly increasing its rate of fire compared to more traditional single shot rifles chambered in similar calibers.Since its introduction in 2000, this cartridge has become one of the most sought after big bore handgun rounds for hunters and precision shooters who require maximum accuracy and power from their weapons – being adopted by numerous sportsman and target shooting enthusiasts around the globe due to its impressive ballistics capabilities.
