  • The 9x18 (Ultra) cartridge has been around for more than 70 years and is still used today by shooters all around the world. It was originally designed for use in the Soviet Makarov PM semi-automatic pistol but is now also used in a variety of other firearms, such as CZ pistols and certain Sig Sauer models.

The 9x18 Ultra has an overall length of 18.5 mm and is a rimless, semi-rimmed case measuring 188 mm long. It has a bullet weight of 7 grams and fires at pressures up to 30,000 PSI. This makes it an incredibly powerful round that produces more energy than other popular calibers like 9mm Luger and .380 ACP.
