I am loading for the 6mm ARC and have noted a lack of details as follows;
The platform used in the data is not mentioned. Is it for AR15 platform, which it was originally designed for, or was it developed in a bolt gun? We don't want people that are inexperienced to blow up their new gun.
Brass manufacturer, ie Hornady, Lapua, Starline, etc.
Primer manufacturer
Primer Size states Large Rifle. Whose brass in 6mm arc uses a large rifle primer? All of my Hornady, Lapua, Starline brass use small rifle primers.
I use CCI 41 and Remington 7 1/2BR small rifle primers in my AR platforms as they are designed with thicker. .025 cups which prevent slam fires. Never had a slam fire in 56 years of reloading.
Hope this helps make this a better and safer site to draw information from.

Hi - regardig your points
we are following the standards defined for a caliber bei SAAMI or CIP. They also not not differentiate and only define for a caliber the max. allowed pressure which we respect in all loads.
We have 4M loads in the database. First, do you know a soure which has for all the brass in all calibers the case volume? Even if you had it, it would blow up the loads to >40m. This is why we have th epersonalized load calculator and you can relfect your specific brass with your specific case volum.
This is insignificant for the pressure - you can and should check what gives best precision for your gun
Again - we are considering the standard here but also the primer size is insignificant for the max pressure (we always keep 10% safety buffer) and is more a matter of what works best for your gun
Sounds like a good combo
Let us know any better and saver site which covers nearly as many loads as ours :-) Again, we respect and focus on the standards defined by SAAMI and CIP and work with a 10% safety buffer.
