Small Pistol (SP) Primers

Small pistol primers are essential components in small-caliber handgun ammunition, designed to ignite the gunpowder within the cartridge when struck by the firing pin. Used in popular calibers such as 9mm, .38 Special, and .380 ACP, these primers are smaller than their large pistol counterparts, tailored for cartridges with less powder and lower pressure requirements. Each small pistol primer consists of a brass cup, a sensitive primer mix, and an anvil.
