Not entirely excited about the decision to get a subscription, but I believe it will be helpful overall. I agree with another reviewer, some of the loads I looked at (this is my first day) seem a little too conservative. They do have bullets/powders that I can’t find a reputable recipe for though (THERE'S A LOT OF THEM!), so at least I get a starting point when playing with powders and bullets not listed in one of the books I have. As an example of what seems like a too conservative load, the listing for .224 Valkyrie (yes, I got suckered into that cal) 88gr Hornady ELDM with the powder I’m using XXL lists as min charge 21.9gr and max 24.1 with a 2.226” COAL (seems like an odd length, is it a typo?). Hornady book lists 22.9gr start load and 26.7gr max load for that same powder with COAL at a more realistic 2.25”. I’ve been loading 25.3gr for 1,000 yard steel smacking which is within Hornady’s range and measuring 96 fps faster than what XXL lists as max (measured with labradar in AR rifle with 24” bbl at 65deg F); and at 31 deg F I’m pushing 2690fps which is still faster than their max charge for that powder. Charge weights are also noticeably lower for all other powders listed in the Hornady book for THAT caliber. There is some tailoring you can do to the variables, but I haven't played around with that much yet. The loads listed with the powders I have on hand might not get me to 1,000 yards before dropping into the transonic zone, which was the whole marketing point of that caliber.
.
HOWEVER, to be fair, when looking at 6.5CM, they list max charge of one popular powder is one full grain over what Hornady lists and XXL listing it as an extra 50 fps over the Hornady data, but the listing for another powder is 1.7gr lower than Hornady’s book and 120fps slower. It is what it is I guess. I find differences like these between powder and bullet manufacturer's load data as well, so it is nothing too surprising. Just seems overall more conservative than I'd prefer. Checked on three powders for 6.8 Western as well and found 1 powder a little lower and slower, one significantly lower and slower, and one listing a higher charge but slower velocity than the powder manufacturer's data. I'm guessing this is the difference between calculated data and proof-tested data? With anything, you got to be vigilant and watch for pressure signs even when you’re within the min/max charges of whoever's published load data you're looking at.
.
I wouldn’t consider this subscription a substitute for a bullet/powder manufacturer load book, but I think it will augment the collection satisfactorily. I was hoping they’d have load data for some more obscure calibers such as 338 BR, 375 & 458 SOCOM, but I didn’t find them in the listings (I was expecting to find 458 SOCOM, but wasn't expecting to find 375 SOCOM or 338 BR, just hoping).
Hi - thanks for the comprehensive feedback and we hope you get more convinced about out website as you use it. We will also try to add 357 and 458 SOCOM calibers.
A very concise website that offered an immense amount of options when reloading ammunition. I do like the fact that it recommends the starter loads and the maximum loads too. Another particular handy feature is, you can specify your own specific barrel lengths to get an anticipated results.
Has so much information and data on the tip of your fingers that I've even found and explored new avenues which were extremely gratifying Great job guys and keep adding new loads on all types of calibers well done

So far so good. Had some 9x21 oddball bullets, XXL had the data that I couldn't find on any of the other reloading site.

Nota : je tire au 338 LM avec canon de 32 pouces.

Excellent data and very user friendly. Allows end user to select parameters relevant to individual. I appreciate those choices greatly.
To me, cost is not a factor. Where else can you secure so much information that is reliable and safe? Like most applications, navigation
becomes easier as the end user increases activity. Very happy with xxlreloading.
Great for experienced reloaders. Could be challenging for newbs. Excellent amount of data.
Comprehensive loading data for some unusual cartridges.
I am new the xxlreloading site I have used it a couple times and it is very easy to navigate.
